Morgan’s Timber has a rich history that dates back over 100 years, beginning its journey on the Bond Road at the Dublin Docks. Initially specialising in green lumber, we quickly gained recognition for our professional timber drying operations. This foundation allowed us to expand our offerings and become a trusted supplier and trader of premium timber across Ireland.

As the years passed, Morgan’s Timber evolved from its roots in wood drying to become a leader in the importing and trading of highly specialised wood—a role we proudly fulfil today. In 2006, we became a cherished part of the Chadwicks Group family, Ireland’s leading builders’ merchants. This partnership has strengthened our ability to serve our customers with excellence.

Our operations moved to Ashfield on the Naas Road in 2011, where we continue to source credibly certified timber and treat wood using eco-friendly practices. Our ambition is to deliver ethically sourced and environmentally conscious products throughout Ireland, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and quality.

In 2025, Morgan’s Timber proudly expanded its offerings to include an on-trend range of melamine boards and specialized MDF products, catering to the evolving needs of our customers. We also launched our innovative one-stop shop for carpenters and joiners, designed to remove the hassle of shopping around multiple stores.
